hi guys,

I can't change my desktop background, i open control panel->display and i found no tab for desktop wallpaper setting and also windows theme.
It could be caused by virus.

Anybody ever got this before?

By the way, my old wallpaper is there at the background, it's just i can't change it anymore.

yup, i've known about that thread, but i think his case is different from mine, he still can go to display properties to change image, i dont even have the desktop setting in display properties, it's gone.

have you tried downloading and importing the reg file i mentioned on the post #6 on that thread ?

hi friend,
I have run the reg file, it helps by showing the tab for setting wallpaper in display properties, but still, the browse button is disable and i can't choose the picture.
This has been almost the same case as the thread you point to me, but i rather confuse which part did he actually solve it after reading.

ok, please go back to the thread and check your registry settings against all of the registry information that shows on the post #12 and #13. and modify each one of them accordingly.
