Try scedualing one for the next reboot,

Chkdsk c: /f
Chkdsk d: /f

Then reboot and let it do it think and with luck it should
remove the entry to keep running the check

There is a way to fix it but i've forgeten let me see
if I can find it again...

Edit: found this on other forums

................................
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;316506

Also:

Click Start >Run >type "regedit" {enter}

Navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager

Double click the "BootExecute" value, and remove all the entries

........................................
SIDE NOTE for referance I just checked mine
and my entry (the default windows one) is:

autocheck autochk *

You might try useing that value if yours is diffrent

daRk_heLmet is on a distinguished road

you get a chkdsk on starup bcos of the DIRTY bit set on the volume

1. click on your start menu and open the run dialog.
2. type "cmd" and return (note: dont enter quotes)
3. Next type "fsutil dirty query e:"
4. If the return message indicates that the volume is dirty go to step 5
5. Next type "chkdsk e: /f /x"
6. After that finshes repeat step 3.
7. If it is no longer dirty then reboot and you should notice no more
ckdisk.
