Installing Fonts?

Hey guys, im trying to install some fonts, but its not letting me. I go into WINDOWS/FONTS and try to drag fonts in there and the install thingy doesnt come up I dont know why it wont, I disabled a ton of services and tweaked my system alot so im not sure if I did something wrong =x can someone please help me fix this. Thanks

In WinXP, it is my understanding that fonts will validate theirselves upon reboot, unlike old Win98 that wanted to do it right when you drop them in.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

System Specs

Try actually pasting them in there instead of dragging.

I tried to paste them in there, but when I right clicked to select paste the place where it said paste wasnt highlighted so I couldnt paste them in there I have installed fonts before I reformatted my compy, for some reason it isnt workn now

got it, 7-zip doesnt let you do it, so I dled winrar and it worked

just wonder if you could install it by using/from "Add Fonts" dialog,
or shold this gives same result when entering a full absolute path to extract using WinRar...

open the Run box and type fonts (or control.exe fonts) and hit Enter,
then go to File menu on the fonts folder and select "Install New Font..."
to bring up the Add Fonts dialog. the file is already extracted.

Copy your font
Go to Windows\Fonts folder
Click EDIT then PASTE (Doesnt work from right click context menu)
Done
