Hi, welcome to DH.
Can I ask if your using USB to connect the modem to your pc?
And if you are, do you have the option to use ethernet to connect to your pc?

its probably the usb connection that is causing your grief.
If you can connect the pc to the modem via ethernet, I suspect your problems will be gone. Win64 will not need drivers if connected by ethernet as no drivers are required. Get yourself an ethernet cable and connect directly to the modem and all your troubles will be gone. You may even notice your broadband speeding up a little.

Ambit hasn't released any drivers for the Win64. Run ethernet, I beg you. (I do cable support so believe me when I say that ethernet is the way to go here)

You defiantly would need to switch over to the ENT connection this is far superior to USB.Also using ENT,when ever reformats are done all you would need to do is install you're chipset drivers.all you would have to is plug in the cable and have access to the net without the use of the disk.
Then just manually update all you're emails etc manually.
