??? AGP Gfx-Card running in PCI mode on Win2000 ???

Hi i need some help with Win2000pro.

I just installed it, everything works, but it say's my GFx Card is using PCI mode.

I've used Win2000 in the past, but I've never seen this problem b4.

What's wrong?

My system is:
Windows 2000-pro
AGP Ge-Force 4400Ti with 128MB ram.
1024Mb's DDR400 Ram.
AMD Athlon XP1800+ CPU.
30GB Maxtor HDD.

The Mother-board is an MSI K7T266 Pro2

I'm not sure if this will help, but get into your bios by pressing the delete/F1 key to get in and double check to see if the bios is reading it as AGP or PCI. It might be on PCI and therefor reading it as a PCI card. Were are you finding this information on it being run in PCI also?

I just found this too which might be of some help from one of the fellow DH members.

It usually happens when your motherboard's drivers are not installed. Go to MSI's website, download the drivers and install them. That should work and fix your problem.

problem fixed, thanks,...

I thought it might be the AGP*.vxd VIA driver (or lack of) . I was just worried about win2000pro throwing a wobbly.
