WMP 10 and no sound

Any movie I play in Windows media player I have no sound at all, any other player has sound just fine and my sound works fin in games and every other application on here, I've got a SB Audigy2 ZS and running windows XP pro SP2.... Anybody have any ideas?

What other players have you tried? VideoLAN might not be affected, as it uses its own sound codecs

Are your sound codecs installed properly?

How do I check that? I make video drivers Audio not so good at

Download GSpot from here:
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
and open the movie file that you're having issues with using GSpot

Then, click the "available audio codecs" button and then the "render" button, which will tell you if the movie is rendered successfully, and if yes, which video and audio codecs are used to render it
