my gaud, the improvements over SP1 and over the Orginal is outstanding.
However, i must stress that the only way in my opinion to experience the way the Service Packs were designed, is to install a fresh SLIPSTREAMED version, installing a service pack AFTER finishing an installation of windows tends to give everyone problems, or cause unwanted issues REGUARDLESS of how you do it or what you do it on.

What Judas said.
However, I mostly disabled all the new stuff that came with SP2, so from memory, I honestly can't recall anything different, other than internal security stuff, (and the boot screen ) that's different now that I have SP2.

I haven't upgraded yet, mainly because the first 7 times I tried it, it worked horribly. But now that I have a new XP Pro install I should probably try it again.

It's like asking should i update my 1/9/1998 drivers to 2/1/2005 ones LOL
a close to 450-500mb update full version, unpacked, includeing massive improvents and even some long horn code.... many say it the way xp should have been realeased in the 1st place

lol.....the only reason why i chose sp2 was because all the updates that you need to d/l if you only have sp1 are already in sp2 . All the other services that sp2 comes with, i disable just like i did w/sp1 .

SP2, of course
As Neon said, it's how XP should have been released in the first place
