Has anyone here downloaded Windows 64 yet and if so how does it run???

the link to the MS 64bit site has the details. Larger ram support, etc.

unless you have 64-bit apps also, it won't do a whole lot right now.

I dumped my Alienware machine with the P-4EE while the dumping is good.I have been an Intel man for 20 years but I went AMD.

I'm not getting into the 64-Bit scene until Intel gets their hardware out and make it widely available. It's also a good idea to wait for a solid OS settle down onto the public.

I just couldnt ignore the truth any longer.And i'm not tring to sound like a wise ass by saying that.But when you compare the FX line with the EE line there's not much to be said for Intel.Intel makes a great CPU but when you look at the cutting edge as far as high proformance goes you just have to give it to AMD.At least for the preasnt time.What did it for me was the new issue of Maximum PC where they compared the 3.46EE with the FX-55.It wasnt even a contest.It seems to me that AMD likes gamers also.I'm not tring to stir up a hornet's nest or anything but that's why I switched.
