Greyscale colors for windows (windows XP sp1)

so, i'd like to know how to get only 2 colors instead of 8/64/256/16/32

edit: uhm, i mean greyscale but good quality

You could create a greyscale colour scheme, if there isn't one already, or if you only have a mono monitor, use a colour mode and it will render as grey - that was very useful some time ago, with mono (greyscale) VGA monitors in Win 3.1 - if you used the monochrome driver, it was bi-level, and any intermediate shades were stippled and horrible - the 16 colour mode came out much better.
