Since Tuesday, I've installed SP2 on 3 desktops and laptop. I've had no installation issues nor any software or hardware conflicts. Compared to SP1, this has been a walk in the park.

IamLakota is an unknown quantity at this point

My Auto up date popped up and ask if I wanted to download XP SP2 and I clicked yes and haven't seen a thing for 2 days now.I guess it must take several days to download all them mb's, cause the way it's setup it is supposed to ask me to install before it install's. Any body else have this issue??? I have DSL and speed check says it's at 1.4mbps.

Tweek is on a distinguished road

Anybody else had hardware faults after installing this ?

I am running Windows 2000 Home Edition but was promted by Windows Installer to install this update anyway, I went ahead and did it but now my DVD (rw) drive has fallen off the map.

I have tried Add New Hardware Wizard and it recognises that the software for the drive has been installed but for some reason it can't see the actual drive.

Could anybody please help me, my thanks in advance,

Tweek.

I did installed it on my PC (AMD 3500+), but it slowed down the PC so much that I'm now running SP1 again
