Unless you are experiencing problems with it I wouldn't worry. It's probably just how ASUS implemented the driver. Does the drive appear as two different drive letters in explorer?

if both drives are working and the CD-RW Drive works as recordable drive then you should be okay.
if not, try stopping the antivirus from starting up with windows, i see you use NOD32, try disbling its auto startup. then go to the device manager and uninstall both drives, then reboot you PC and let windows detects it one more time and see...

if that does not helps,
follow the steps you see in this article - http://support.microsoft.com/default...=kb;ja;Q316529 for how to check and/or edit your registry.

you'll looking for the value data for the value named "Drive Type",
check your registry and modify its value data on the CD-RW Drive from 1 to 2 (if needed) and see if this helps.

btw, i see the Getright icon on your system tray, if it is, dont let it uses auto start nor auto updates, start it up manually..

--------------

try changing the TDK Cyclone 52x24x48 from "Slave" to "Master" and see maybe this helps also..

Don't worry overly much about whether a specific KB article exists for your version of Windows.
Standard practice is to grab whatever's available and apply the principles.
