TCPDetect AdClicker

Overview
TCPDetect AdClicker tries to click banners on certain web sites. (ADWARE/SPYWARE)

Manual removal
Please follow the instructions below if you would like to remove TCPDetect AdClicker manually. Please notice that you must follow the instructions very carefully and delete everything that is mentioned. In most cases the removal will fail if one single item is not deleted. If Bazooka still detects TCPDetect AdClicker after stepping through the removal instructions, please double-check by stepping through them again.

1. Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run. (The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
2. Browse to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run
3. In the right pane, delete the values called 'SVCHOST', 'TcpDetect' and 'win32app', if they exists.
4. Exit the registry editor.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Delete the following directories and its content: "%WinDir%\system\1060\" and "%WinDir%\system\4224\"
Note: %WinDir% is a variable (?). By default, this is C:\Windows (Windows 95/98/Me/XP) or C:\WINNT (Windows NT/2000).
7. Delete the following file: "%SystemDir%\winpup32.exe"
Note: %SystemDir% is a variable (?). By default, this is C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me), C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000), or C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP).

Get Ad-aware at Lavasoftusa or Spybot (S&D) or Bazooka free Adware and Spyware removers.

thx i just removed the Trunk_32.exe from my system startup and all is well again

i wonder how it got there in the first place becuse i have Mcafee AV installed hmmm :P

Because it's not a virus, it's adware/spyware. I'd strongly suggest you download adaware and completely scan your system so as to remove any crap like that - not only does it slow down your pc but you may also be sending your personal data over the internet without realising.
