The main one being are current drivers compatable with it?

Well... only one thing really at the moment - I need to find a way to update the version of Direct X on it from 9.0 to 9.0b. Thx

Have you tried the redist provided by Microsoft (~30MB)?

is it possible to run Longhorn on Sata
Anyone who have experience with this issue On an ASus p4c800 E and Sata seagate barracuda ? plz a review for how to do this.

Can i Use The Sata drivers of win XP WHQL?
with a clean setup, or have do an copy over winXP sp2
i have at the moment 1 computer at home before i install longhorn i wanna know ,my computer runs several months at the same XP setup, maybe its a waist of time to install onghorn and setup my computer programs
again it's a 90 Gb i have to install....on several programs and Games my windows xp runs ok now but i'm always in to test new OS'es.

XP drivers work on longhorn... so I would reckon that the SATA drivers would work too

got 2 of these p4c 800 -e del thingies here...you should try
2 change into ide-compatability mode (on both of mine the default
settings were ide-enhanced mode) in bios...1 of mine is rev. 1 and
the other is rev. 2.0...couldnt find any changes, so...
some windows and linux installs went fine with the ide default settings,
some not, so my recomandation is 2 change this first...after finished
install u can go back 2 enhanced mode and enjoy all of your up 2
10!!! drives...
hope this helps...
ps.:all the xp drivers worked fine, no matter if sata, raid blabla
were/was chosen...
