Another issue on my son's computer. We just upgraded his system to XP Home.

Anyway, XP Home has all the updates from MS including the apps.
When he starts a movie, it plays about 30 - 35 % of the movie and then the video goes black.
I can't seem to get anything from the MS Knowledge Base about this.
The video drivers currently are what XP has on the CD for the card. ATi indicates these to be the latest drivers.
Hopefully, someone has a clue what to do. QT player does just fine as well as other apps.
EDIT: I got it taken care of. I had to locate drivers from a 3rd party download site that had XP drivers for the card. Installing those has corrected the problem.
