There was a bad XP update some time ago
Some time ago there was a bad XP update which would make your pc run slower. I don't use XP so I don't know which 1 it is , I have looked through a lot of posts on this site but didnt find it =/ .
So XP users can you help my friend the pc nub. What update did make windows run slower ?

good , then I need to find his problem somewhere else . Coz he got real poor performance =/.

whao how come he has so many updates? whereas recently for mine, which I re-install my XP Pro, I have so glitch in trying to update to SP-1a as no matter what, the server will seem not to install after almost completing my downloads for that SP-1 files which are I believe more than several megabytes. Then I just search for those other alternatives for this SP-1 updates and until now, I don't see any of my update supposed to appear within the Add & Remove, does it mean I probably have a bad install?

dunno , he didnt get this list of updates in add/remove , it's just shown in a system information tool : belarc advisor. i think it does say when an update is bad installed too
