While Iam not totally sure I bet ZoneAlarm would catch it's attempts to contact Microsoft allowing you to say weather it can or can not
 In fact you will notice things like WindowsMedia player want to connect to the net EVERY time you play a file with it. |

Is this still about the CD/SP1 key thing????
Because if it is then you already know how to fix it - get a legitimate key and you dont need to worry about what info is being sent to MS... Stu |
