Is this crucial to have??
Hello, awhile back I was having problems with comp such as it like stalling for a bit, then kicking back up. The entire thing was a complete pain in the ass. Well i forget who it was now, but this person told me to remove an update that microsoft had us install called Q811493. I instantly deleted it for i was at my wits end and then all the problems went away. Till today that is, i installed the newest criticals from microsft due to the holes in the os as of late, all day ive been having troubles with this comp, again slow page load ups and lockups that would eventually free up. i remebered about this Q811493 issue and then looked into the add remove section and bang there it was, deleted it once again and all is fine. My question is, is this Q811493 always part of the critical updates, or a part of the newly patched os . Have i took away the latest protectant that ms had me install, or is this just something ms is trying to ram down our throats and isnt needed at all. For any of you having slow moving systems again, check to see if this Q811493 is installed once again. For me this has been a serious problem, and i forget who broke this news awhile back who said microsft doesnt check there updates very well, but again thank you for that, once again removed all is fine. God bless
