1.goto a command prompt and type mmc
2. click on the console pulldown and select add/remove snap-in
3. click on add button and a window listing all the snap-ins should popup.
4. select 'group policy' and follow the rest of the wizard.
5. once done & the console is set, goto local computer policy-window settings-scripts
doubleclick the shutdown option and here you can enter the programs you want to run on shutdown.
