You don't need drivers, just set it up in Control Panel=>Gaming Options. Unfortunately the great button-binding software won't install on XP.

Seems I read somewhere that M$ is considering getting out of the controller business and leaving it to Logitech. Hmmmm....I thought I read that in these forums somewhere.

Yeap, MS formally announced that there will be no further support for the gaming peripherials (for pcs that is. Xbox is still alive and kicking). So there will be no further update consearning Sidewinder, but that does not means that you can't find anything @ MS
