C Parsing Error...who's to blame ???
Hello...
On my work AND home machines...every time I load an SD card in my HP PSC 1610 printer...to transfer digital photos to that computer via HP Director's 'Transfer Images' functionality...I get this;
http://www.moonjams.com/CParsingError_HP.jpg
I normally just hit OK...at which time it either transfers for me...or I get a secondary warning of another sort...for which I also hit OK; & it transfers for me as well...
But it got to the point whereby it became very annoying...so after downloading/installing the latest HP Director driver...I contacted HP tech support to get it fixed.
First...they gave me an alternate method for photo transfer.
I e-mailed them back & said...no, no, no...you see...I actually would like to use your product for the task it was designed to do.
So they e-mailed me back & told me it was a problem w/ the operating system. This sounds like BS to me...but I figured I would inquire here where folks really know the nuts & bolts of XP.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
