Pissed HOw I change the CPU ???

I just finished downgrading my Sony FZ340 to XP and everything works perfect EXCEPT I noticed the processor says it is a T7250 @ 2.00Ghz instead of the T7700 the unit has.
I can not figure out how to change it!!

System Specs

I'd assume it's merely misidentified due to running in some powersaving mode that lowers the clock at low loads. The program CPU-Z is a more reliable tool for identification. CPUID

try consulting with Sony tech support to see if they can help you with this (small) problem,
i doubt, but they might have an updated BIOS that can also allow the XP to get a better processor information.

also, try using the XP with its latest service pack if you haven't try it.

XP SP3 should include the power management patch.

I'd also suggest trying RMclock, as that should be able to locate all possible power states, as well as providing better control than Windows.
