??? Backing up and Reinstalling

I'm working on my moms computer and I want to back up everything that I can w/o the operating system. I want to save e-mails all docs, bookmarks, favorites and programs she has installed. Can someone direct me in the right direction to do this. Thanks

Programs are mostly not possible to backup, because they often need registry keys to work. You can fiddle with it, but 95% chance you can't.

You can best backup c:\documents and settings\yourmumsusername.

You will have all her personal stuff backed up.
If she uses Outlook express, then it would be wise to backup her addressbook (search for *.wab on her c: drive). And also make a backup of her account (options\accounts\export).
May i ask why u need to do this ? If it's only to repair XP, then it is better to do a repair install.

Then you would have to reinstall all the programs anyway.
