Download Adaware from Lavasoft there is a free version within the site.Install & fully update it,then run the application. It may take a few times to remove all spyware (some require removal of software). Many Free toolbars are loaded with advertising cookies.

CCleaner is another app that comes in useful for removing unwanted cookies etc.

SpywareBlaster 3.5.1 also helps keep trojans etc from a pc before it's given a chance to install.

These are the software that i use which work very well for me.. if they don't help you out much i can't say any more than i have done so already.so hope you get the problem sorted.

That sounds like they are advertising cookies which has been installed. If you use CCleaner which i have given you the link is a good free app that removes all cookies. This also gives you the option which cookies you wish to keep (ie wich saves passwords to websites etc).

sounds to me that it's full of "crap ware" so you have the task to clean it all. You need to uninstall all the software that you don't know from add remove programs in control panel.
