clearing the address bar
how can it get done? i've been searching websites between last night and tonight here on my supervisor's computer at work, and i don't want to get busted for having done so. the only evidence i'm leaving behind of having done so is the URLs of the websites i've been to. any way of clearing those from the address bar, or am i SOL on that?

create a .reg file with this below info...
Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
;remove_typed_urls.reg
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs]
then close the IE, and run the .reg file (or import/merge the reg info into your registry).

goto the control panel, task bar and start menu and press clear...
right click the IE icon on your desktop, properties, -delete cookies,
-delete files, clear history, then on the content tab, click autocomplete,
click clear passwords, and forms
also clear your user and windows temp folders but CCleaner is a good tool for that
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
just remember to uninstall it from his pc...when your done

you can clear autocomplete history via the IE's tools or edit your registry...
the autocomplete stores the usernames and passwords of users in the user-key (name of this user-key is generated from the user SID which looks similar to this example "S-1-5-21-1409082233-1326574676-839522115-1003") under this registry key "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Protected Storage System Provider".
