??? Copy Users and Groups settings

Hey guys, long time no see

I'm wondering if there's anyway to backup or transfer the Local Users and groups settings. At work we've been using a copy of xp pro as a file-server (not the best choice in the world, but very affordable, and if something happens my boss can still troubleshoot it without me needing to be there)

The problem is that something happened with the install of windows recently and I had to do a repair install, since then it's been acting really funny.

I have everything partitioned correctly, so we won't lose any data, but we have this "server" connected to 4 different buildings via our vpn. That's a lot of users, and a lot of different levels of security access. Is there any way that I can transfer those users and groups to a new install of windows?

Also, as a second priority, is there any way to transfer file sharing settings?

If I end up having to enter all of this in manually that's fine. I'll probably just let the server act funny and only re-install if it gets to be a really big problem. It just means that once a week I need to make drive out to the server's location to manually reboot it.

Thanks guys
