I have a application that needs DAO 3.5 to operate. On the application CD rom there is a install program to install DAO 3.5. When I run this it stops as soon as the install program opens up and says "another application is using DAO, close all applications and continue" or something pretty close to that. When I hit the yes icon it comes back up to the same thing if I hit the no icon it aborts the install. The mystery is there are no applications running when this happens! XP SP2 is the OS. Office 2000 is loaded. My old computer the app works fine, however the DAO 3.5 was loaded prior to SP2.
