hate is on a distinguished road

Vista setup problem (setup crashes) on 64bit processor

Hi! My friend tried to install Vista on his 64bit processor (x64 Vista, so the version is not the problem) but every time he clicks on the final "install" button the system crashes and he has to restart the computer. What could be the problem??? Pleeease help me!!!

System Specs

Could be corrupt. If he got it through less than legal means, that would be my guess. otherwise, it could be some other hardware incompatabilities

No it's not corrupt. Somehow, he says, he got two different versions of it, and none of them seem to work.

It used to crash right away on the welcome screen. But then I told him to unplug/remove all hardware that is not fundemental and now it crashes when it should start installing...

Any ideas?
