DirectX 11 for Vista Released

According to Bluesnews

DirectX 11 is available for download via windows Update.

Im currently using windows 7 so i can not confirm this is true..

Did you look the installed updates?? I got it in there and dxdiag says DX11

I never downloaded the full sp2 to install, but I always keep the system up to date. Perhaps I need to install SP2 on its own?

I bet that's the problem, Im pretty sure I saw SP2 listed as a prerequisite

I have seen very little of this mentioned else where... But what i have seen you do need sp2 installed.

BTW: Guru3D is hosting the update.

I installed SP2 and now I get the option for the DX11 package (in that other name).
I will probably install it later or tomorrow, perhaps...I might as well install 9.10
