exclamation ACID 7 - no audio output

I was foolish enough to buy a Vista system for musical applications.
After installing ACID 7, everything was okay for awhile, but now, when I record through the 3.5mm front mic jack, the program will record but I can not hear/monitor what I am recording through the computer's speakers.
All audio devices are installed properly, and the program records just fine.
The only problem is my computer's inability to send the audio OUT through the speakers in real time. But when you playback the recorded version, what you have recorded plays back through the speakers. So, the problem is localized to hearing/monitoring yourself in real time.
I installed the exact same program on my Windows XP computer and it worked perfectly. Any suggestions? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the Realtek driver.
By the way, I was playing around with LIVE/Ableton version 7 upgrade before this all happened. Don't know if that is related, but it's better to know what I've been doing.
Thanks....

Re: ACID 7 - no audio output

Hi everyone! I will not do any commet about the current topic, but I will like to make a question about a problem that I´m having right now. We use to work with an older version of ACID and record tracks without problems. We use to record to guitar channels one right and one left and on the final version of the tracks listen clearly the difference in the channels, but now that we are using the ACID 7 what is recorded for the right channel is listened on the left chanel and what was recorded for the left channel is listened on the rigth channel we never had this problem with the older versions.

Does anyone have some information about this?. We are using the same card and nothing has change in the computer.

thanks!
