Hi Guys! Nice forum! I really like the logo up there!
My problem is that bioshock wont run on my new computer, on vista 64. Installed and updated the game. Ran vcredist_x86 on the disc and started up. I can change settings for my display etc and when I click "new game" and what difficultylevel I want it goes black, just a hint of a loadscreen is visable but nothing works beyond that. Installed directx 9.0c (latest of the MS homepage). I got the nvidias most recent drivers for my XFX 9800 x2 card and the lates chipset drivers from GIgabyte for my motherboard. hm I`m lost.. got a spanking new computer and want to play this game!! Any help or hints are apreciated!! Dave SWeden |
