one vista bug still bugging me after SP1
Well I changed over to Vista 64 w/ SP1 this week, don't see a diff but I do have 4gigs of ram now. You might of seen my rant on the flame warzone about vista not being so bad, and I stick by it! Minor problems happen! but I don't know if this is a vista problem but it is awfully similar to the network usage bug which should of been resolved in SP1. That is why I will post it here.
Basically I get mouse lag whenever there is heavy network usage from my laptop or ps3. It could be downloading a demo from the playstation store or downloading something on my laptop or streaming something from my desktop. My cpu usage doesn't spike on my quad core here, the computer is fine just my G7 mouse lags a shitload to the point where the connection drops and I must reconnect it and it keeps lagging. Do you guys think this is a windows problem, or a driver problem from logitech or a the logitech G7 signal interfering with my wifi signal? Both the G7 and 802.11g connections run on 2.4ghz freq, but on my old comp I had no problem sending files while my main worked away. I did have my linksys router back then and Windows XP and a different laptop. I have a Siemens Speedstream 6250 modem/router now from my ISP. It gets annoying if my bro is streaming video from my comp and I am just doing work on it for school! This problem is not apparent on my laptop with vista home premium though if I stream, which is nothing compared to my desktop. Googled the issue with no solution many times.

well I fixed it and it was a connection problem. Did a quick search on the logitech forums and bam found out the mouse lag is due to the router. I moved it a meter away from the mouse and all is good. This thread should be closed and/or moved to the hardware discussion for future reference.

what was it using? (Bluetooth/RF/etc)
reason I'm asking is because it seems that bluetooth mice have a lot of interference issues with routers, portable phones and other mice/keyboards ...
I use the MX Rev (not bluetooth) ... never seem to have interference
