M-Audio Revolution 7.1

I am sooo annoyed...

I want this damn thing to work, I don't care what drivers I use..

I have tried, Revolution 7.1 Windows XP Drivers, and Envy Vista drivers...

Any Ideas on how to make this card work under vista?

Thanks!

Steve

System Specs

I cannot tell you about the 7.1, but I can tell you I got my M-Audio Revolution 5.1 working just fine under Vista with the beta XP64 drivers. I just had to disable the signed driver requirement. Note: not all features work when you do this, but MOST things do, including digital audio and 5.1 surround. Line inputs do not work, however. I believe, that M-Audio may have dropped support for the 7.1. It is an older version of the card with, reportedly, worse sound quality. M-Audio just released Vista32 drivers for the Revolution 5.1, and 64-bit drivers are pending. We shall see if they decide to continue support of the 7.1.

At any rate, getting an M-Audio Revolution card working in Vista64 was FAR easier than getting an Audigy 2 working in XP Service Pack 2. I'll never regret leaving Creative behind.
