Vista and Nero 7 Ultra
Anybody using Nero 7 Ultra on Vista? I'm having problems getting it to work. I'm trying to use the 7.7.5.1 Update which is supposed to be Vista compatible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What problems are you having? It's working fine here too. Did you install all the components?

I've been trying to burn a DVD using NeroVision 4. Right after I start the burning I keep getting error messages. I've only got the 7.7.5.1 installed, which I'm supposing has all the components needed.
What I'm doing is copying some old VHS tapes of some of my favorite movies and then puting them on DVD. I'm using Nero to burn the files to my hard drive and then using DVDShrink to put the movie onto a 4.7 GB DVD. To be truthful I'm not sure I've got the right version installed.

You definitely have the right version. Hmm...did you have the problem w/ thumbnails & Mpeg files earlier? Also what exactly do the error messages say?

I remember something about no SP found, I figured that had something to do with a Service Pack.

NeroMobile.exe tends to go crazy here and use 50% cpu usage when dealing with video files so I BALETED it's arse

I couldn't get Nero working right on mine until I picked up Nero Lite the cutdown version, you still use your retail key and it works fine, just your vanilla Burning ROM and none of the bloat. I think the problem I was having was it was asking for something at install, but then finished ok. but would always hang
