I have an el-cheapo Acer laptop that I use for general computing around the house. Been running RC1 on it since October, and it ran it well for it's specs. Any way to make a long story short after installing Home Premium tonight (Family Discount) it gets to the crcdisk.sys file then reboots. I've re-installed three times, tried a different HD, remove all bits of hardware I could (wireless card). I even tried the work around with removing any thing to do w/ pcmcia files. Nothing has worked thus far. I have an e-mail in to Acer but the laptop's warranty is up. Of course MS is just impossible to get help (You need the product ID #, if I could get to it I wouldn't need help). Here is the blue screen code I'm receiving:
0x000000TB C0x80403BA0, OxC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000
Honestly I'm more perplexed than any thing else since it ran the awful RC1 w/ no issues. At least I have my scotch to soothe my nerves.
