Vista and Wireless Internet & HP2200C Scanner

I could use alittle help. I'm installing Windows Vista Ultimate (32-bit) on my computer tonight and could use some help getting my wireless internet to work. I remember I was able to get it to work when I was using the beta-versions of Vista with very little problem, but can't remember how I did it. I'm using a D-link DI-624M wireless router and a DWL-G132 wireless adapter. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just thought I'd check back in to let everyone know that I've solved my problem.

Did you travel back in time and check what you did on the beta? haha.

It's pretty straight forward in Vista, it practically did it before I even asked it to on mine :-)

Kinda little of both, it wasn't as easy as when I was playing around with the beta, but it is now working.

Would anyone have any suggestions on how I could get a HP Scanjet 2200c to work on vista? I've checked HP's website and they say my scanner is no longer supported.

I've got a 2100C somewhere, and I'm pretty sure XP used to just pick it up without a driver, does Vista not just recognise it? and use a standard driver? I guess not. Try installing a standard imaging device driver or something, i'm sure you can get some functionality out of it straight from Vista.

Was pretty simple. Vista came up and asked me if I had the installation disk for my wireless component (which I did), it picked up the disk and installed the drivers and then I had the internet. That simple.

Someone has had some success using VueScan in Vista with their old HP scanner. It seems to work for several different models, so it's got to be worth a try, I guess.

Have a look here:
