x1600XT VISTA Problems

Hi,
I have tried installing most drivers out there, actually ALL drivers out there..

I have installed latest BETA Drivers as well...

Here is the screenshot!


Very furious! :@ Vista looks amazing.. MUCH Faster then XP .. The video drivers is making me insane.

If what's shown on that screenshot counts as "amazing", I don't know what words to use to describe a recent KDE/GNOME with Xgl enabled.

HI
I have the same problem with ati x1600pro, the card has 512 meg but vista indicates 64 only also my samsung monitor driver is not correct nor does vista recognize the monitor which is PnP (works on vga vista is a interesting os if i can get the vid working

I have it on my laptop.. XGL is still buggy phase, it is pretty cool

But I like windows interface when I am using it for personal stuff, linux is still not there for home users.
