have you sent off an email to hp themselves (although yes i know, your chances of a relatively decent responce is highly unlikely)...
I find the Business line of printers from HP generally end up with support last.... which imo, is kinda strange...

I contacted HP about something else, and then I asked on a side note about printer drivers for Vista.
As soon as I mentioned Vista, it was like I said I had VD and the tech would only reply "We do not support Vista at this time"

sounds like the case...
your best bet is to google your printer model with VISTA beside it and see if anything "official" shows ... never download and or install drivers from a site that doesn't look even remotely legit... and you must be aware that even legit looking sites could possibly be harmful..
I'd also suggest you constantly keep sending HP an email asking for vista.. the more you nag.... and the more others nag with you... the quicker they respond to it.

I attempted the first suggestion many times.
I will try your second suggestion as well
I will post if I get a response.
Thanks

what I do when it comes to printer drivers and Vista is that I have vista installed on a machine that is not connected to the printer and use the printer as a networked printer as it's hooked up to my fiancees machine.
It will then install basic drivers onto the Vista machine and the actual printing is handled by the other machine.

Is that as in XP Pro X64, if so then there ARE Hp printer drivers available.
http://extended64.com/files/folders/...entry2015.aspx
These also work with Vista X64 IF you turn off driver enforcement.
Hope this helps.

HP directed me to http://www.planetamd64.com/ for a driver for my 3210. * For x64 XP * It works ok from Firefox 2 b2, IE and email, doesn't have the imaging programs that the 32 bit program has. It uses the HP logo during install, but doesn't act like an HP install (it installs quickly), even checks hp for updates.

hmm i've got a hp officejet 4255 all-in-one and Vista RC1 had drivers for that printer automatically, heck even Beta 2 had drivers automatically as well.
Also in some cases drivers from XP will work in Vista so give it a go

I am using an HP 2230 Business Inkjet along with an HP 170X (J4102B) TCP/IP print server. Working with HP support, they advised me to go with the drivers for the "DeskJet 5600 Series" printer in Vista. While this resolved the problem and could now print, I was now getting blank pages printed before any document would send to the printer as well as injecting blank pages in-between each page printed. I then tried the driver for the "HP DeskJet 5400 Series" printer and all worked well, eliminating the blank pages. HP really spent a lot of time with me to figure this out and appeared committed to resolving my issue.
Hope this helps.

what I could recommend is what Judas said, try and download the drivers for XP in a zip format if you can. Unzip them and go through add new hardware when it asks look for driver browse in that folder. If they do come up, try installing them. In addition, any warnings come up abotu them being unsigned and such, just say install anyways.

Sometimes, just using the XP driver in VISTA the printer will work. However, this will work for some printers, but not all. It's worth a try. You can always uninstall via the device manager.
