Extended desktop question
This could of gone here or in the Vista forum I guess. I have been using the extended desktop for a few months now on 2 monitors and was curious if there was a way to use different background pics for each monitor under Vista or Win7?

Re: Extended desktop question
Nope, I use a 3rd party program to make it happen. Google is your friend on the matter.

Re: Extended desktop question
HHHMMMM...that DisplayFusion looks kind of interesting. I wonder how it compares to UltraMon?
I've been using UltraMon since the Win98 days, and I've always been happy with it. It was a bit 'flakey' in WIN 7, but they just released a new version (3.0.6 Beta) which seems to have cured that. You can D/L UltraMon and try it for free for 30 Days. Realtime Soft UltraMon It would probably be a good idea to try both before you decide to purchase either of them.

Re: Extended desktop question
This one seems good so far on Vista I might try the one you posted the link for on Win7. Cheers OB

Re: Extended desktop question
easiest method imo is to take 2 images you want to use and make it a single image... set it to tile in the wallpaper options and it'll tile across from the main to the 2ndary like you want it (just have to make sure the placement and demensions of the image is proper)

Re: Extended desktop question
I thought of that Bro and actually make a "Panoramic" out of it there is software for that as well. For me I just wanted to swap the desktops independently for now and solved.
Cheers on the suggestion
