Thumbs Down! New interface in upcoming 9-7 package.

As you can see from these pictures there's a new interface for the Catalyst Control Center in the upcoming 9-7 driver release. It's not a huge difference but unfortunately it takes a step back in accessibility. Most controls are now one mouseclick further away, and some two more. It may look nice but putting often accessed items furher away is a basic no-no when it comes to interface design. Fortunately the CCC from 9-6 seems to be doing fine with the 9-7 driver but that may of course not be an option with some later driver.

I wouldn't normally touch a leaked driver package but the talk of a new interface made me too curious.

(everything tucked under drop-down menus)

Thanks for the info mkk not sure if I like it at first glance either but will await the official release and see how it works. I really like the interface used in the newer releases up too 9.6.
