Mobility 9600 Vista Drivers (error 43)

Hello everyone,

I am very frustrated at the moment, trying to get the ATI drivers to work with my Toshiba Laptop and Vista, which I just installed, as a fresh install, not update. I have followed the directions in DH, but I still receive error 43:

D/L the 7.8 Catalyst driver for Vista
Ran the setup to unpack files but cancelled before installing
D/L and ran Mobility Modder
Ran the modded setup
Setup completes OK, reboot, but still error 43.

There are no drivers on the Toshiba.ca or Toshiba.com sites and I even called Toshiba and they cannot say if they will provide Vista drivers for this model...

System:

Tosiba P30 (PSP30C-RG100E)
Vista Ultimate
512MB RAM (I will add another Gig shortly)
ATI Mobility 9600 with 128 MB of RAM

Any help would be appreciated.
