Vista VPU Recovery

I'm sure most people are aware of the ATIKMDAG driver recovery error that seems to happen quite frequently in Vista. Unfortunately, I am having issues with this myself of late. Never used to have any problems at all. Turns out, it is caused by Vista's kernel version of VPU Recovery; but I am yet to find a way of turning it off as disabling the diagnostics service did nothing and I had little luck finding anything in the registry.

If anyone has any ideas how to turn it off, your input would be greatly appreciated.
