Interesting:

New Features
• Increased Total Graphics Memory under Windows Vista for GeForce
7 and 8 series GPUs

Wonder if the missing memory bug has been fixed in theese.

Flat panel scaling really seems fixed this time too. I can't remember when I was last able to use the fixed aspect ratio scaling option, and now it's actually working.

The Flat panel scaling doesn't work for me yet though,
162.18 beta or offical with 8800 ultra.

Still have to use the "enableoverscancompensation" fix, even then only the resolutions contained in the driver initially work - custom ones I make such as 1400x1050 still don't centre (which of course is the one I want to use the most !!!)

Try while using the other DVI connector if you haven't already. As far as my experience goes the scaling has ever only worked with one of the two connectors.

Just tried it but no difference m8

Once i've used this
http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/n...ted=1177972007
Scaling will work - but not on any customs resolutions.

If I don't appy that patch the scaling options in control panel won't apply.

Opps just noticed i'm in the Vista forum - I'm running XP

They've really been struggling to support Vista so XP users might well be out of luck indefinitely.

This new set of drivers doesn't uninstall your old drivers like previous installers did so you have to uninstall them your selves prior to installation.

After having tried 163.11 beta, uninstalled clean and went back to this 162.22, the panel scaling is shot again. It's not the first time I've encountered this kind of inconsistency, sigh...
