rolleyes 59hz problem

Both my monitors keeps resetting to 59hz in Windows 7 x64 build 7232 running Catalyst 9.6, even though I select 60hz and it's supported.

Anyone else suffered from this and know of a solution?

I'm getting that on Build 7100 (Didn't even know they released anything after that). I tried the Beta drivers for NVidia and the ones before that, but that doesn't fix anything. Must just be a 7 problem.

Re: 59hz problem

Actually they are all the way up to 7265, but nothing above 7260 has been leaked and 7232 is the latest leaked pre-rtm x64 build. Expecting RTM to be in mid july.

Sounds like a seven problem, minor issue though, but thanks for the feedback.

Re: 59hz problem

I have the same with Vista 64. For like ever. I get option to change to 60 but sooner or later it changes to 59.

Re: 59hz problem

I get this with Vista... I haven't really looked carefully, but is there any actual difference in how the display looks?

Re: 59hz problem

I had this problem with my last graphics card and vista but i wouldnt worry about 1 hz difference because 60hz i belive is actually only 59.8hz or something its just rounded up. If there was a problem your monitor would soon let ya know
