Tested these drivers with Crysis on my 3850, WOW, just WOW, Crysis on High runs at a steady 30fps even in motion blur, sometimes it drops below when textures are loading or a bunch of crap is going on, but for the most part i'm freaking amazed, medium is running at a 40-50 fps steadily with some occasional 20-30 fps drops.

I just modded the drivers using the DH Mobility Modder Tool, they appear to be working fine so far with my X1700, however the PowerPlay settings in CCC are messed up; hope PowerPlay itself still works.

I have a problem with the AVIVO basic color panel being reset to default on about every other reboot, with 8.2 and 8.3. Other than that I've noticed nothing bad.

Drivers seem ok which is just as well after looking at the XP thread. seems resources are going into vista now, so im glad I moved. Poor XP users !

Not a miracle driver by any stretch of the imagination and I had a few issues installing them, had a hard lock first time, then i got a 640x480 screen and had to do another install. After that everything seems ok.

I think ill be moving to Nvidia with my next purchase, I really can't be bothered with these messy drivers anymore. My friend just bought a 8800 card and I watched him install a driver set last week, took about 2 minutes. Couldnt believe it!

I almost overlooked some new features mentioned in the release notes. The new panel scaling is working well and the two new Avivo tweaks are welcome for TV viewing.

Dang, I encountered a nasty little problem with 8.3 on my system. Whenever switching a playing video between full screen and windowed mode there is a slight risk that the system will lock up. At first I thought I had a freak occurrence but then it happened again so I began switching between modes and checking up on various things trying to find the problem. It took a while of underclocking and going over the system parts before I decided to try moving back to 8.2 and then the problem vanished.

Once again no Crysis performance improvements. The Nvidia fanboys have all the fun.

the gpu scaling is nice and working in COD4 and Crysis, had a small issue where crysis would sometimes jump into windowed mode, i only had it happen when i was in the menu and aquick check of the fullscreen option fixed, was runnin both games at 1440*900 on the 1680*1050 LCD

Have you actually tried it? as its a lot faster with the 8.3's and 1.2 patch.
