The newest ati/amd drivers just leaves the installation manager on the uninstall programs menu. Do you have ati icon in the taskbar? And does the Catalyst Control Center folder show up in the All Programs meny in start menu?

Ok, your card is PCI-E card? since the drivers has some issues with AGP cards.
And you have removed the drivers using the ati installation utility's uninstall feature??

Its agp...i have removed the drivers with the unistall feature yes...i have unistalled all for sure...befora i had downloaded them for vista i had installed the ones that come in the cd that are for xp..with them i can play all that.but the performeance isnt good and i want to update them...but cant run the catalyst because its says that i have to update the drivers..
i have unistalled the graphic card form the device manager now im with vga...
With an AGP card, you will need to use CATALYST drivers 7.5 or 7.6 or possibly the latest Omegadrivers.
There are known issues with AGP cards on all other versions beginning with driver 7.7. So, do NOT try to install any drivers from 7.7 - 7.12. The latest Omegadrivers are based on 7.12 but use an older file to -- in some cases -- make AGP to work.
Thanks for the help homies..im gonna download CATALYST 7.6 and then i tell ya if it work or not...
Look Dyre Straits i have searched for omega drivers..the problem is they werent released for vista...in the homepage its says avaible soon or something like that...
anyway thanks for tha help..im gonna post the results here...
but catalyst 7.6 suports my graphic card?
ohhh.
i have downloaded 7.6 and still the same problem..what i do now??

All we know is that Omegadriver is working on a version for Vista. But, there's no ETA on when they'll be ready.
