CCC Version Question

I have an HP HDX9000 laptop with Vista Ultimate 64 bit and a Radeon Mobility HD2600. I can see the version number in CCC is called 2007.0517.2140.36881. How does that translate to 7.xx?

I also see the current version is 7.11 but as known, it won't install on Mobility cards. Then I came across the mobility modder on this website! Sounds real cool. It shows that it will work on Vista. Is that 32 and 64 bit? As long as I download the 64 bit ATI drivers and CCC? Any other tips?

Thanks!
Jamie

I think that it's CAT 7.5 what you have installed.

I see several software version numbers. Which one refers to Catalyst Control Center? The one that says Catalyst Control Center would be the obvious choise but it doesn't match the 7.xx format.

Driver Packaging Version 8.38-070517a-048432c
2D Driver Version 7.01.01.646
Direct 3D Version 7.14.10.0503
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.6590
Catalyst Control Center Version 2007.0517.2140.36881

Got it. So it's the version that came out 5/17/07. Wonder why they don't just use the same numbers as they do when searching downloads on their website like 7.11. Or at least include it in the date format.
