CrossFire not Enabled amongst other problems...

Whats up with these drivers, there seems to be one bug after another. I'm starting to get really sick of it.

Currently running Catalyst version 7.10 and trying to enable CrossFire which does not work. I check it, it is activated. I enter/look in the CCC CrossFire entry and its not even checked... it just will not hold.

If thats not bad enough, CrossFire is totally messed up in XP. I have to disable Catalyst AI to stop the screen corruption.

CrossFire has worked splendidly since 6.12, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4.

7.5 and newer problem after problems with Quakewars, between screen corruption in any game or invisible players/objects and Vehicles.

I would have stuck with one of the previous working drivers, but since Quakewars hit (Public demo)/Retail the problems started. They worked fine with the several public beta's, but no longer with the final game. The invisible flickering parts have been fixed but the screen corruption is not (apart from disabling Catalyst AI) to some degree.

This is on a pair of X1950XTX's with a 620watt Enermax Liberty certified CrossFire PSU. One master + slave + dongle on a ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe latest Bios 701.

I find it so infuriating reporting problems to ATI and after release after release, month after month the same problems are still there... nothing gets fixed. Which I have come to the stage, I have found it not even worth it to even considering playing a game.

What can one do... all I get is scripted responses of I need a bigger power supply, I need to set my refresh rate higher than 60Hz bla bla bla (considering I'm on DVI). Everything responded or and mentioned thats not related to my problem.
