I have had my first problems with the Radeon Drivers since taking ATI cards over Nvidia several years ago. Maybe I've been lucky.

The 7.9 official drivers would not even install for me on Vista Ultimate, I have submitted feedback to the Catalyst team, the result was 'INF not found'. These hotfix ones, do work okay in Enemy Territory Quake Wars and my performance is better than I expected, however they have hosed the HDTV output. I have problem where the 1080P60Hz which was added on the CCC keeps dropping off, or the refresh rate goes for 60 down to 25 spontaneously. Also the aspect ratio for 1080 playback on my HDTV cuts off the bottom hundred or so pixels, non HD stuff seems to expand to the correct aspect. Very weird indeed. Other game i play is WoW and performance and quality appears unchanged.
