ATI Radeon X1550 *HELP!*
Operating System: Windows Vista Ultimate
CPU (Processor): Pentium 4 CPU 3.33Ghz 3.36Ghz
Motherboard:
RAM: 2GB
Graphics Card/s Installed: ATI Radeon X1550 256mb
Hard Drive/s and Type/s Installed: 150gb and 150gb external
Description of Problem: I have just purchased my new PC, it's all good apart from the graphics card. My friends say i should be getting at least 80+ fps for games (counter strike) but for anything i try im getting like... 20. Even on linerider :|
I have tried changing the settings through the catalyst control but nothing will change. This is very annoying. Please, how can i make my graphics card work to its full potential?
Thank you.

Greetings and welcome to DriverHeaven!
I'm puzzled by the highlighted statement. Are you saying that you cannot change any of the settings via CCC?
Are you logged onto the PC with an Administrator Account?

krrash, if you can post your dxdiag here, it has more info about your system. Like is that X1550 AGP or PCI-E card. And what motherboard you have and what chipset is in use.

Since this is Vista-related, I'm moving the thread to that forum. Hopefully, you'll get better help.
Good luck!
