??? GeForce 8600M GT drivers

I just purchased a Dell Inspiron 1720 with a GeForce 8600M GT, and I was disapointed to find that nvidia doesnt make drivers for these laptop cards.
I was looking at Omega drivers possibly, but are they even designed for laptop gpu's.
What would be the best drivers for my card to get the best performance?
currently I am using just the drivers that windows update has given me and they arent that terrible but I would like to see if I could get a boost.
thanks for any help =D

Are there any recommendations for this? I have the same system and Dell's drivers are over a year old
